Barite beneficiation is mainly gravity separation . Here is gravity beneficiation to gain high-quality barite blocks with high beneficiation efficiency, low operation cost. It is environment-friendly, high-efficient, and energy-saving as a barite beneficiation method.

Barite gravity beneficiation makes use of density difference between barite and gangue. Density of barite is 4.0-4.6g/cm3 while that of gangue is 2.2-2.6g/cm3. Barite gravity separation can gain a great efficiency because of the big density difference. The main gravity separation machine involved is jigger. Barite jigger is widely used in the beneficiation of fine, medium, and coarse barite with its large separation range, big feeding size, and good separation efficiency.

Gongyi Forui Machinery Factory has two kinds of jig machine for barite beneficiation. They are AM30 jig machine and LTA1010/2 jig machine. AM30 jig machine is mainly for barite granules of 8-30mm and it can be also used in the separation of hematite, limonite, specularity, manganese ore, fluorite, celestite, mercury, antimony and so on. LTA1010/2 jig machine is kind of down-driven cone diaphragm jigger for 0-10mm granules. The allocation of both jig machine can deal with barite of 0-30mm. And this is the most common separation combination for some small factories while for some big factories, 2LTC6109/8T and FRT16-2 jig machine can be used together to realize the upgrading of 0-30mm size range.
